My story
Everything changed when I knew I would marry the love of my life, Jessica in 2016.
Just after moving in with her and her three kids, I was hit with the fact that I would soon be a provider for them – financially as well as being responsible for providing an education and safety net for many years to come.
My parents were bank managers and I am the youngest of four siblings. I learned all the essentials, the basics of personal finance as well how to invest correctly by the time I was 18. By 21 I had my first rental property and by 23 I was investing heavily in the stock market. But I realized that my family and I were about to embark on a lifelong relationship of learning and growth together. Naturally, that should include money and finance, just like my parents taught me.
That is when I scheduled a meeting with a financial adviser. Both Jessica and I got present to the gap of where we wanted to be and where we were. And it was a wake-up call!
We made some changes and turned around our situation in a short period of time. That experience was so important and valuable for me and my family that I left my career as a Matchmaker: to enter the world of money and help as many families and individuals as I can.
I take the time to get to know everyone I work with. I treat every client I come across as a valuable chance for me to make a big difference in someone’s life. I have searched high and low and I am always learning and growing myself, from books, courses, mentors and events. There is always value that I know I can share with the person sitting across from me. I like to be transparent and tell the truth even if it hurts. I believe that is the only way to serve people because time is limited and life is short and I don’t like to waste either of them. But nothing drives me more than helping people and making a difference.
